Can I use my health insurance to pay?
If you have Medicare, you may use it to cover applicable physical therapy services within your insurance plan. Other insurances, however, are not currently accepted. As a result, you will be able to be treated without stipulations imposed by health insurances that often dictate the course of physical therapy care, like a limit on the number of sessions or services able to be provided. You will also not be surprised with any unexpected bills as a result of insurance cutting off benefits. At JP Physical Therapy and Fitness, services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. How do I know if I qualify for physical therapy or fitness services?
If you have been evaluated by a physician to obtain a referral for physical therapy or have a physical injury or ailment that is currently limiting your daily functioning, you qualify for physical therapy services. Otherwise, you may benefit from wellness or fitness services.
Can I do physical therapy without a prescription from my doctor?
For a period of 30 days, you will be able to receive physical therapy services without a prescription for physical therapy from your doctor. However, you may then be eligible for wellness or fitness services. If you have any questions about how to receive a referral for physical therapy from your doctor, please email Jeff at jeff.paskewitz@jpptfitness.com or call him at (609)-751-1807. Oftentimes, it is as easy as calling your doctor’s office and requesting to pick up a prescription, or you can schedule an appointment with your doctor.
How do I know whether I can be helped?
If you are unsure whether or not physical therapy or wellness or fitness services can benefit from you but would like a consultation, please call Dr. Jeff Paskewitz at 609-751-1807 to determine if he may be able to help you.
Will there be an extra fee for providing services within my home?
No extra fee will be applied for physical therapy or other services provided within your home. JP Physical Therapy and Fitness values convenient care. Dr. Paskewitz will be able to travel within the Southeastern Pennsylvania Region and is also willing to do virtual training or physical therapy to individuals who live in Pennsylvania.
